Shoreditch’s Smokestak truly is one of London’s most unique restaurants, with an interior designed to evoke the inside of one of their legendary smokers.
Every detail at Smokestak has been thought of – from their idiosyncratic menu all the way down to custom designed cutlery and napkins. Naturally, the music had to match and MAV Music created a focused profile with individual hourly playlists to ensure the music reflects the changing moods and atmosphere of the restaurant during each part of the day.

Our musical selection mirrors the aesthetic of the restaurant itself, with dark, heavy industrial sounds drawing from artists like Jamie xx, SBTRKT and Bicep, many of whom are based locally to the venue.
AUDIO HARDWARE
We were involved with the Smokestak project from the hard-hat stage and worked closely with the team on site, helping them to scope the project and providing a high quality installation through a partner installation company.
