The name JKS Restaurants is synonymous with some of London’s best eateries – from Bao through to Brigadiers, Hoppers to Gymkhana. We’ve loved working with the various sites to create playlists as dynamic and adventurous as their food offerings, so we were very excited to get stuck in on JKS’ latest project, Kian Samyani’s Berenjak. Based in Romilly Street in Soho, Berenjak focuses on Iranian cuisine, and we dug deep into the country’s pre-revolution psychedelic scene for the soundtrack, mixing classics from the likes of Gogoosh and Kourosh Yaghmaei with hidden treasures from this fertile and under-explored era of music.
