Conran have a long and esteemed heritage as one of London’s foremost retailers. We’ve been working with the group for a number of years and our relationship goes much deeper than just playlist curation. The latest project the Conran team asked us to help on was their Dark is the Night event, a celebration of the creativity that can spring from the contrast between light and darkness, showcasing of the latest pioneering design in the lighting sector. We created a special one-off playlist for the event, with a brief to look for dark, glowing tracks – eventually settling on work from the likes of Trentemøller, Aphex Twin and Nosaj Thing, among others. We also supplied MAV Live DJ LRO, who’s set after the main event went down a treat.
