Best known for being the first Indian restaurant in London to receive a michelin star, Mayfair’s Tamarind is a well-known byword for excellence in Indian cooking. Having already worked with sister restaurant Zaika, we were approached to tailor a perfect soundtrack following a renovation and redesign, with the owners seeking a lighter, more feminine approach. We created a refined but sexy soundtrack comprised of a mixture of bossa nova, jazz and soul, perfectly in-keeping with both the individuality of Tamarind and the context of the wider Mayfair setting.
